About My Sister's Closet....
My Sister's Closet is a funding source for Truth for Women and The Truth for Women Center. Truth for Women is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
The Truth for Women Center is a haven where women are treated with honor and respect. We offer hope, help and healing using biblical principles. Our services include mentoring, support groups, Bible studies and workshops. Women are encouraged to use the center to help find resources, write referrals, learn life skills, receive job training and obtain clothing.
The Truth for Women Center is working with a local coalition to form a task force to confront the issue of sex trafficking and exploitation through advocacy, education and awareness. By working together, we can expose these operations and open a safe house for the women who are removed from this horror. The safe house would be a haven where women are treated with honor, dignity and respect. Women would receive counseling, therapy, education, life skills and empowerment to walk through the recovery steps so they can be placed back into society.
